Crockett
Quarter Horses is family owned and operated by Allan and Carol
Crockett. We are
committed to the preservation of some of the working bloodlines
that have made the American Quarter Horse what it is today.
For us, these bloodlines include Driftwood, Joe Hancock,
Lucky Blanton and King. We
feel that these horses were some of the best ever to work on a
ranch or go to the arena. Our
horses are foundation bred and carry high percentages of the
blood of these fine horses.
Many
of the great Driftwood offspring were the result of breeding
Driftwood, or one of his sons, to daughters or granddaughters of
Joe Hancock and King. The
reverse was also true with Joe Hancock, or one of his sons, King
or one of his sons, being bred to daughters and granddaughters
of Driftwood. Our
breeding program is designed to provide that proven cross, and,
through a carefully structured Linebreeding program, to preserve
high percentages of the blood of these horses for future
generations to use and enjoy. |

We
believe that we can genetically produce top quality horses that
will function for working ranch cowboys, rodeo cowboys, and
anyone else who is interested in having a good doing horse as a
willing partner.
Our
goal is to raise horses that have willing minds, great
dispositions and conformation, athletic ability with speed and
quickness, and the ability to work a cow.
We want them to be physically tough enough to work all
day and still willing and able to take you to the pay window.
